There is a
common misconception today that the more you can do yourself,
the more money you will save. Many times, that rings true;
however when it comes to labeling CDs and DVD, it's just the
opposite. Applying a full label to a CD or DVD can be a tedious
task. It can be difficult to line up consistently and evenly
without any bubbles. Additionally, most CD and DVD equipment
manufacturers state in their user manual that you should never
apply a label to the surface of a disc when using their
equipment. Labels can be an economical way to get started, but
it may be time to move on to a better solution. |

you want. Of course, there are many other CD/DVD printing
options, like inkjet printing or thermal printing. They can be
great options once you have the equipment in place, but the high
cost of ink cartridges translates to .25 per disc in just ink

WHAT IS SILKSCREEN PRINTING?
Silkscreen printing is the traditional method of custom
printing directly on the surface of replicated CDs and DVDs. It is the
ideal solution for text and logo printing of 1-3 colors providing rich
vibrant colors that are waterproof and smudge-proof. Typically, the
minimum order has been 1000 pieces or more, and the discs all had to be
identical. However, WTS can print as few as 300 pieces and each one can
be customized. WTS now prints on CD-R and DVD-R recordable media. |
WHAT IS OFFSET PRINTING?
Offset printing is a full color, waterproof, smudge proof
solution for printing directly to the surface of CDs and DVDs at the
highest possible resolution. (175 LPI - Photo Quality) This is the best
solution if you are looking for a full color look that needs to be
customized each week. |

| Do you need
frequent customization on part of the disc? No problem! We can
leave a blank area on the disc to easily customize that portion,
but the rest of the disc will have the same professional
colorful look. We have multiple options to print on the
customized portion. We can do it for you each week for a nominal
charge, and have them ready to ship to you complete in 48 hours.
Or, you can customize it yourself using a small thermal printer
(around $100). For a more professional look, use a fully
automated printer (call for details). This would allow you to
personalize your discs at a fraction of the cost. |
